Estebano HIDALGO WEDDING AND WHISPERS VALENTIN ALCAZAR

Work:: THE WEDDING OF HIDALGO AND VALENTIN ALCAZAR Estebano
Review: This story takes place in a village, like many people of Colombia, frozen in time and where civilization or modernity seems to arrive. Macondo is a town where sometimes reality merges with fantasy in a world of magical realism.
In the Caribbean coast between the sound of music of drums, bagpipes and the sea breeze and the smell of fish in a tropical environment the characters live between the solitude of their stories driven by an inexorable fate uncertain. Life gives way to death and death gives way to life, as part of their ephemeral nature but also, paradoxically eternal. Young people at a certain age will grow wings and take flight, leaving their families and the elderly left alone. It's like the law of life. Men born, grow and die like plants, trees and stars in the universe. Life emerges from the womb of mother nature and man is born from the womb of the woman. The woman has the power of the miracle of life.
